4900 Series Seating Mechanism

Application:

Fixed back, single shell, swivel tilt seating requiring a tension adjustable mechanism that offers reduced front edge seat rise with separate gas lift, tilt lock, and at-rest angle adjustment levers.

Features:

• Advanced forward pivot function with 6.98" fulcrum to reduce front edge seat rise.
• Compact, low-profile design to maximize seat height adjustment range.
• Patented high-performance conical coil spring provides wide spectrum of adjustability while maintaining even support throughout entire tilt travel range.
• Tilt lock can be engaged by moving the lever down to lock and up for free tilt action. The tilt lock can be engaged in the forward at-rest position.
• Height adjustment is achieved by lifting the gas lift lever located on the right side of the mechanism.
• Forward and rear cushioned stops provide quiet, dampened tilting action ride.
• Two-position front stop option enables user to select the forward at-rest angle of the chair, either 0° or 5°, based on individual task preference.
