7800 Series Chair Base

Application:

Low-profile, steel understructure base offering the structural advantages of U-channel shaped legs and the versatility to accept our color molded, one-piece plastic overlay or a customer's individual wood overlays.

Features:

• A visually appealing U-channel style chair base with a slight 2° top leg angle.
• This chair base offers strength and design versatility.
• The 7800 Series base will accept our color molded, one-piece plastic overlay, or a customer's individual wood base leg overlays, and will complement the design of any chair.
• Style A and Style B chair bases feature two holes in the bottom of each leg to accept size #8 screws for overlay attachment.
• The optional Style B base features four side window slots in each base leg to accept barbed spring steel clips, which function to hold a customer's wood base overlays securely to the chair base legs.
• Ruggedly constructed chair base has 12 gauge, high strength steel U-channel legs and a heavy gauge 50mm swaged steel center hub.
• Optional heavy-duty 10-gauge, high-strength steel U-channel legs are available upon request.
