REACT Series Seating Mechanism
Application:
The REACT Mechanism incorporates the next generation of intuitive ergonomics. A 'self-weighing' mechanism, it allows the users' weight to adjust to a comfortable sitting position. The seat moves downward and forward as the user reclines. A single handle allows the user to adjust seating height and to lock the back position.
Features:
- Intuitively responds to torque requirements covering a wide range of users without the need for manual tension adjustment.
- The patented linked-motion configuration drives the reclining action by mechanically connecting the seat and chair back through an ergonomically positioned hip pivot design.
- The system components serve dual purposes, functioning as key linkages that drive the sliding seat and chair back motion, as well as accommodating infinite aesthetic design variations.
- The mechanism serves as an integrated structural member of the chair, providing attachment points for arms and back linkage elements.
